Recruitment Fairs

Each year we join forces with our colleagues in colleges in the Eastern part of the country to bring you Ireland's largest graduate recruitment event the gradireland Recruitment Fair.This year's even takes place in the RDS on 21st October 2009.

Our Summer Recruitment Fair is planned for June 2010 in the RDS - contact our Recruitment Event Manager at GTI: aisling.carroll@groupgti.com

Vacancy Advertising

Online:

All vacancies can be published for free via our shared vacancy system on gradireland.com the official graduate recruitment site for Irish colleges. We use gradireland.com as our only vacancy page as students are best served online by a single Vacancy Page. This free entry may be followed up by gradireland staff offering additional advertising rates which start from €400 + vat for a 2 week slot.

If you enter your advert via the NUIM link it will also be printed out and placed on our Noticeboards and circulated to relevant Departments, otherwise it needs to be emailed to us directly via lorraine.kelly@nuim.ie

Centre Website: In addition we have a section on our website for employers who recruit on an ongong basis as well as a Virtual Milkround for employers recruiting recent graduates and final year students.

Electronic Noticeboard: Powerpoint slide/presentation can be diplayed on our Electronic Noticeboard outside the Centre.

Student Publications: The Spoke is the Students' Union monthly magazine. It is distributed campus wide as well as being available on line from this link. for advertising rates contact: niamh.m.obrien@nuim.ie.

Recruitment & Selection - on campus facilities: Lecture Halls and rooms can be booked for presentations or selection testing. Additional facilities such as video, powerpoint and overhead projection can also be provided. You can also avail of the opportunity to have a display stand positioned in a prominent place on campus where you can meet interested students from relevant disciplines. Rooms can be booked for holding on-campus interviews and we can advise on optimum timing so as to avoid clashes with examinations and where possible lecture, tutorial or practical sessions. Courses offered at NUIM

Details of all the University's courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level can be a found in the University Calendar. We now operate a two semester academic year for practically all programmes so in order to obtain a good response to advertised vacancies you might be interested in scheduling your recruitment activities around Term Dates and Examination Dates.
